This is an information page maintained by the City of Monroe, Michigan.  On November 8th, 2016, residents of the City of Monroe will vote on a now reduced 0.47 millage increase to build a new fire and emergency response personnel station.  The millage would fund the repayment of $6.1 million bond proposal over a 20-year period, and would cost approximately $23.50 per year for the average homeowner in Monroe who owns a home with a market value of $100,000.
